麥秸垛：英文版

　　本書選取了女作家鐵凝的《沒有鈕扣的紅襯衫》、《哦，香雪》、《麥秸垛》、《孕婦和?！返仁黄髌?。 作為一個女作家，鐵凝一直關注女性的感情及命運。她的小說常以普通人的普通生活為表現(xiàn)對象，通過平凡的日常事物的描寫，來揭示人物的心靈世界，并借助人物心靈深處的觸動傳達具有時代特征的情緒。《哦，香雪》描寫一個農(nóng)村少女香雪在火車站用一籃雞蛋向一個女大學生換來一只渴望已久的鉛筆盒，表現(xiàn)了農(nóng)村少女的純樸可親和對現(xiàn)代文明的向往。中篇小說《沒有紐扣的紅襯衫》則真實描寫一個少女復雜矛盾的內(nèi)心世界和純真美好的品格。鐵凝善于從自己獨特的視角捕捉人物內(nèi)心的活動，從中反映人們的理想與追求，矛盾與痛苦，語言柔婉清新。

　　Born in Beijing in 1957，Tie Ning graduated from senior middle school in Baoding， Hebei Province in 1975 and in the same year went to the countryside to experience rural life. In 1979 she was transferred to the Baoding Branch of the Chinese Federation of Art and Literature and in 1984 to the Creative Writing Workshop of Hebei Province. She is now vice chairperson of the Chinese Writers Association and chairperson of the Hebei Provincial Writers Association.Since 1980， Tie Ning has published Path in the Night and other collections of short stories and novellas. Other representative works of hers include Rose Gate， The Bathing Girl and The Twelfth Night.
