　　China Chants II與China Chants工在每課的結(jié)構(gòu)上相似，均包含一篇以chant形式出現(xiàn)的課文和若干對應(yīng)的語言練習。但本書又與第一冊不盡相同：首先，全書以語言功能為標準劃分成11個單元；其次，語言練習擴展成了5個項目，分別是（1）聽力訓練（7rue or False）；（2）語音練（Focus on Sound）；（3）語言要點（Focus on Form）；（4）語言功能（Focus on Function）；（5）語言應(yīng)用（Interactive Activities）。教學過程建議分以下兩個階段進行：（1）語言能力的培養(yǎng)（skill development）和（2）語言的實際應(yīng)用（skill using）。語言能力培養(yǎng)階段包括：課前預(yù)備活動（warm—up），聽錄音理解課文（1istening comprehension），朗讀和背誦（reading out loud and recitation），以及語言學習（1anguage study）。語言應(yīng)用階段包括：功能練習（functional practice），情景對話練習（situational dialogue），語言應(yīng)用練習（role play and dramatization），小組討論（group work）和個人／小組研究項目（task—and—project—based learning）。

作者簡介

　　Carolyn Graham紐約大學教授，曾先后任教于哈佛大學、哥倫比亞大學，現(xiàn)在全世界各地進行教師培訓工作。Graham教授是Jazz Chants教學法的創(chuàng)始人，創(chuàng)作了大量以Jazz Chants教學法理念為指導編寫的英語教材。Frank Tang（唐力行）博士，現(xiàn)任紐約大學英語為第二語言教育（TESOL）系主任，教授。他在中國和美國從事了30多年的英語教育和教師培訓工作，并著有多本學術(shù)專著和英語教材。David Shroeder，紐約大學爵士音樂系主任，音樂制作人，他在紐約大學開設(shè)的爵士樂課程享有盛譽。
