　　魏建國，漢族，生于1947年3月，江蘇省鎮(zhèn)江市人，商務(wù)部原副部長，現(xiàn)任中國國際經(jīng)濟(jì)交流中心秘書長，中共十六屆中央紀(jì)律檢查委員會委員。魏建國自1972年進(jìn)入外經(jīng)貿(mào)行業(yè)，一直從事對非經(jīng)貿(mào)工作，長達(dá)37年，為促進(jìn)中非經(jīng)貿(mào)往來和人民友好合作事業(yè)發(fā)展做出了突出貢獻(xiàn)，取得了卓越的成績。Wei Jianguo， ethnic Han， was born in Zhenjiang City， JiangsuProvince in March 1947. He was formerly Vice Minister of Commerce，and is now Secretary-General of the China Center for InternationalEconomic Exchanges and a Member of the 16th CPC Central Commissionfor Discipline Inspection.Since 1972， when he began his career in foreign trade， he hasspent 37 years engaged in economic and trade cooperation withAfrica. His contribution to China-Africa economic and traderelations， and to the friendly cooperation between the two peoples，has been remarkable， and his many splendid achievements shineforth.
