埃德溫·阿瑟·伯特（Edwin Arthur Burtt，1892 -1989），美國哲學家、歷史學家。哥倫比亞大學哲學博士，康奈爾大學哲學教授。其主要著作有：《近代物理科學的形而上學基礎》（The MetaphysicalFoundations of Modern Physical Science：A Historicaland Critical Es.say，1924），《科學時代的宗教》（Religion抽an Age of Science，1930），《正確思考的原則和問題》（Principles and Problems of RightThinking，1931），《英國哲學家：從培根到密爾》（The English Philo.sophers， from Bacon to Mill，1939），《宗教哲學的類型》（Types of ReligiousPhilosophy，l939），《慈悲佛陀的教誨》（TheTeachings of the Compassionate Buddha， 1955），《人尋求神：宗教史和宗教比較研究》（Man Seeksthe Divine：AStudy in the Hi.story and Compari.son ofReligions，1957），《尋求哲學理解》（In Search of Philosophic Understanding，1965），《人的旅程》（The Human Journey，1981）等等。
