《輪機英語聽力與會話（操作級）》主要分為七大模塊，每一模塊下分若干任務(wù)。各任務(wù)由Part One：warming up，Part Two：Listening and Speaking和Part Three： Reading and Speaking三部分組成。在PartOne部分的子任務(wù)中，結(jié)合相關(guān)知識，以圖片、常用句子、詞匯、單句問答等形式對學(xué)生的讀寫能力進行進一步的提升。PartTwo中包括聽寫、短對話聽力、長對話聽力和單句問答，主要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的聽說能力。PartThree主要包括長文朗讀和口述，以此提高學(xué)生的朗讀技巧，擴展學(xué)生的思維來更好的完成口語表達。《輪機英語聽力與會話（操作級）》在編寫過程當(dāng)中始終以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的聽、說、讀、寫能力為中心思想，力求在以往對學(xué)生進行輪機英語聽力與會話培訓(xùn)中只重視聽與說的基礎(chǔ)上，進一步加強學(xué)生對輪機專業(yè)英語綜合應(yīng)用能力的培養(yǎng)。《輪機英語聽力與會話（操作級）》可以作為全日制高職（大專）輪機（船電）專業(yè)學(xué)生在校期間的教學(xué)用書，也可以作為海船3000kW及以上輪機專業(yè)三管輪的輪機英語聽力與會話海事局評估考試的參考用書。
