　　本教材共分為三部分（Part），30個單元（Unit）。第一部分為機械設計與制造的基本知識，包括金屬材料、非金屬材料、材料的機械性能、材料力學、金屬材料熱處理、機械及機械零件設計、制造工藝、加工設備、模具設計與制造、數(shù)控機床、液壓系統(tǒng)、熱力學、流體力學、化工機器、質量保證與控制等。第二部分為自動控制的基本知識，其中包括控制原理、控制系統(tǒng)類型、反饋控制原理、過程控制、測量系統(tǒng)、傳感器及信號轉換、系統(tǒng)狀態(tài)監(jiān)測等。第三部分為現(xiàn)代先進制造技術，主要介紹機電一體化、計算機數(shù)控、機器人、計算機輔助制造、柔性制造系統(tǒng)、計算機集成制造、自動組裝、敏捷制造、精益制造、大批量定制生產(chǎn)、虛擬制造、綠色產(chǎn)品制造等。本教材的內(nèi)容覆蓋了機械設計制造及其自動化專業(yè)的基本內(nèi)容。各單元之間，既有一定的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系，又獨立成章，可根據(jù)不同學時數(shù)靈活選用。第三版保留了第二版的風格，對部分內(nèi)容作了更換和調(diào)整，增加了如材料力學緒論、閥門、熱力學應用、控制模式等內(nèi)容，保留的內(nèi)容盡可能使用最新版本的內(nèi)容，使教材的內(nèi)容具有更強的時效性和適用性。本教材可供機械工程及相關專業(yè)本科生使用，也可作為同等程度的專業(yè)技術人員的自學教材。

作者簡介

　　馬玉錄，華東理工大學，教授，1982年畢業(yè)于華東化工學院（現(xiàn)華東理工大學）化工機械專業(yè)，畢業(yè)后留校任教至今。91.1~93.3美國The Ohio State University訪問學者， 97. 7~98.7瑞典Swedish Institute for Fiber and Polymer Research訪問學者。曾先后擔任化工機械系副系主任，材料行為研究室主任，化工機械研究所副所長，學?？萍继幐碧庨L、人事處處長等職。2000年被列入教育部“高等學校骨干教師資助計劃”，2003年獲教育部全國高等學校優(yōu)秀骨干教師獎勵?，F(xiàn)任華東理工大學副校長、機械與動力工程學院過程設備材料與加工研究室主任。近年來，主要從事新型高分子復合材料成型工藝研究及非金屬材料在化工機械及設備上的應用研究。先后主持和完成了國家自然科學基金、上海市科學技術基金、中石化科研開發(fā)項目等40多項縱向和橫向科研項目。發(fā)表學術論文40余篇，申請發(fā)明專利4項（已授權1項）。主編《機械設計制造及其自動化專業(yè)英語》教材，參編《化工機械工程手冊》等。長期擔任本科生“科技英語”和研究生“現(xiàn)代工程材料”教學任務，教學效果良好。
