作者簡(jiǎn)介

  邁克爾·迪倫(Michael Dillon),杜倫大學(xué)當(dāng)代中國(guó)研究中心創(chuàng)始人,于該校東亞系任教。主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)橹袊?guó)歷史、政治和社會(huì)以及漢語(yǔ)。他擁有利茲大學(xué)中國(guó)研究專(zhuān)業(yè)的碩士和博士學(xué)位,是英國(guó)皇家歷史學(xué)會(huì)和皇家亞洲學(xué)會(huì)的會(huì)員。他是《中國(guó)季刊》《民族和種族研究》《內(nèi)亞》等刊物的特約評(píng)審專(zhuān)家,經(jīng)常受邀做客BBC等國(guó)際廣播公司評(píng)論中國(guó)及亞洲事務(wù),是《泰晤士報(bào)文學(xué)增刊》的常駐作者,并擔(dān)任由喬納森·劉易斯為BBC2、Granada和PBS(美國(guó))頻道拍攝的一部中國(guó)主題的四集電視紀(jì)錄片的顧問(wèn)。他精通中文,能說(shuō)普通話和一些廣東話,并通曉新疆的維吾爾語(yǔ)。他出版的主要作品有《當(dāng)代中國(guó)入門(mén)》(Routledge出版社,2008)、《現(xiàn)代中國(guó)史》(I.B.Tauris出版社,2010)。目前迪倫教授正在為T(mén)aylor & Francis出版社編輯《中國(guó)百科全書(shū)》一書(shū)。
