　　鑒于在漢英文學(xué)翻譯及中國(guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女性作家作品在英語(yǔ)世界的接受等方面的研究仍十分匱乏，《外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)與文化研究文庫(kù)：中國(guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女作家作品英譯史研究》試圖從性別視角對(duì)20世紀(jì)30年代以來(lái)的現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女性作家作品英譯史進(jìn)行研究。全書對(duì)翻譯史研究及性別視角下的相關(guān)研究的主要成果進(jìn)行了文獻(xiàn)綜述，并在此基礎(chǔ)上提出了主要研究問(wèn)題：（1）不同時(shí)期的女性作家英譯作品有何特點(diǎn)，發(fā)展趨勢(shì)如何；（2）譯者，尤其是女性譯者，如何推動(dòng)女性作品的英譯，并且影響作品在目的語(yǔ)文化中的接受；（3）社會(huì)語(yǔ)境，尤其是性別語(yǔ)境如何影響女性作品的英譯。《外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)與文化研究文庫(kù)：中國(guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女作家作品英譯史研究》的研究對(duì)象為五四時(shí)期以來(lái)的現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女性作家英譯作品與譯者。作品包括女性主義及非女性主義作家創(chuàng)作的小說(shuō)、短篇故事、散文、自傳及詩(shī)歌等，重點(diǎn)是女性主義作家的小說(shuō)、短篇故事及自傳。女性譯者是研究的重點(diǎn)對(duì)象.其譯作中體現(xiàn)出的女性意識(shí)與女性主義特色均得到了深入研究。依據(jù)中國(guó)與西方社會(huì)語(yǔ)境的變化以及翻譯活動(dòng)本身的特點(diǎn)，中國(guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女性文學(xué)英譯史可分為三個(gè)時(shí)期：20世紀(jì)30至60年代、70與80年代，以及90年代起至今。《外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)與文化研究文庫(kù)：中國(guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女作家作品英譯史研究》主要采用描述性翻譯研究方法與定性研究方法分析三個(gè)時(shí)期內(nèi)的現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女性文學(xué)英譯史。性別視角為研究的主線，并對(duì)翻譯中東方主義的表現(xiàn)進(jìn)行了深入探討。研究分析了現(xiàn)當(dāng)代女作家英譯作品以及譯作的副文本（paratext），并且通過(guò)比較研究等方法對(duì)個(gè)別文本進(jìn)行深入分析以揭示社會(huì)環(huán)境與性別因素對(duì)翻譯的影響。
