  《建筑里的中國》是作者花費近一年的時間,實地踏訪窯洞、土樓、苗寨、徽派民居、山西大院、北京四合院等中國傳統(tǒng)民居后寫成的。旨在尋根本土的建筑文化,從傳統(tǒng)中尋找力量。書中描述了“苗寨依山而建,留出平地種稻糧;客家土樓生土板筑,外如城堡內(nèi)家園;徽派民居的尊重自然山水大環(huán)境,黃土地上的靠山窯和地坑窯……”中國傳統(tǒng)建筑的這些“場所精神”,作者都一一親身觀測體會。

作者簡介

  蒲肖依,1989年生于北京。自幼喜丹青,好讀書,游歷廣泛。本科畢業(yè)于加拿大麥吉爾大學(xué)建筑系,現(xiàn)為美國耶魯大學(xué)建筑系研究生。曾在日本隈研吾建筑都市設(shè)計事務(wù)所,美國Kohn Pedersen Fox和Pei Partnership等國際著名建筑事務(wù)所研習(xí)。有《做人與自然的協(xié)調(diào)者》等建筑學(xué)評論見諸報章,嘗試將中國傳統(tǒng)文化融入現(xiàn)代建筑語境中。
