中國(guó)書法（英）

　　“中華之美”叢書圍繞中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化這一主題，擇取其中15個(gè)專題分別加以介紹。這15個(gè)專題，包括以思想、智慧、藝術(shù)為主的“無形遺產(chǎn)”，以工藝、器物為主的“有形遺產(chǎn)”，以衣食住行樂為主的“民俗生活”，它們精心構(gòu)架，有機(jī)結(jié)合，勾勒出中國(guó)文化的一個(gè)總體面貌，并反映出“中華文化的理念、智慧、氣度、神韻”。 書法是中國(guó)的國(guó)粹之一。中國(guó)書法何以風(fēng)行于中華大地?cái)?shù)千年，歷百代而不衰，甚至超過了記事傳言的基本功用，在用于日常書寫之外，上升為一個(gè)世界上罕見的獨(dú)立的藝術(shù)種類？它在發(fā)展過程中與中國(guó)人的審美情趣、價(jià)值取向乃至文化精神形成了怎樣的水乳交融的關(guān)系？我們又應(yīng)當(dāng)怎樣步入這純由黑白兩色構(gòu)成而又奧妙無窮的藝術(shù)世界？本書從漢字的起源開始，深入淺出地介紹中國(guó)書法的源流、形成和發(fā)展，論述了書法的藝術(shù)范式和鑒賞法則。作者在本書中著重推介中國(guó)書法晉、唐、宋、清四個(gè)重要?dú)v史時(shí)期的代表書法家王羲之、王獻(xiàn)之、褚遂良、顏真卿、蘇軾、黃庭堅(jiān)、米芾、康有為等，認(rèn)為他們所倡導(dǎo)和實(shí)踐的變革對(duì)中國(guó)書法不斷攀上藝術(shù)高峰居功至偉。 Calligraphy is the quintessence of Chinese culture. When the ancient Orientals carved the earliest abstract symbols on the walls of their cave houses， and on animal bones and tortoise shells， their symbolic action marked the beginning of the Chinese written language and civilization. At the same time， it indicated the beginning of the splendor of Chinese calligraphy. Why has Chinese calligraphy been able to survive several thousand years？ How could it become a rare art independent of its functions for writing and recording events？ What kind of close relations has it developed with the aesthetic standards， value concepts and cultural spirit of the Chinese people？ How can we enter into this mysterious black-andwhite world？

　　陳廷祐，畢業(yè)于暨南大學(xué)外國(guó)語(yǔ)文學(xué)系，中國(guó)書法家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，中華全國(guó)美學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員。著有《書法之美》、《中國(guó)書法美學(xué)》、《書的美學(xué)》（日文）、《書法美學(xué)新探》、《書法之美的本原與創(chuàng)新》等書法著作。他治書法美學(xué)多年，造詣精深，對(duì)中國(guó)書法的流變有非常獨(dú)到的見解。
