北京今昔：我在中國三十年

Education， culture， public welfare， and writing make up of her ordinary and unique routine. She tries to explore the common natures of people from different countries with a sincere and humorous attitude in order to eradicate prejudices and misunderstandings. As a witness of China’s rapid development and changes over the past three decades， the author has her original insights and feelings in terms of the country’s economy， society， culture and nature. To China， she shows both deep emotion and sharp observation， and expresses both definite approval and well-intentioned supervision.

　　李莎·卡爾杜齊，生于加拿大，先后擔(dān)任語言教師30 年、記者20 年，寫作貫穿其生活的全部。1985 年和1989 年兩次來華游歷，1991 年開始定居中國。2001 年因其“在促進國際友好及熱情支援中國現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)中的杰出貢獻”，被授予中國政府“友誼獎”。2005 年，卡爾杜齊獲得中國“永久居民”身份。在過去的30 年中，特別是2007年她退休以來，卡爾杜齊遍訪中國各地，領(lǐng)略中國文化、民族、社會各方面的風(fēng)情，發(fā)表上千篇文章，出版70 余部作品。Born in Canada， Lisa Carducci has been – cumulatively – a language teacher for 30 years and a journalist for 20， but a writer for her all life. Following two visits in 1985 and 1989， she established herself in China in 1991. In 2001 she was granted the Friendship Award of the P. R. of China for “outstanding contribution to the international friendship and enthusiastic support to the construction of a modern China.” In 2005， Carducci became a “permanent resident” of China. During over 30 years but especially since she retired in 2007， Carducci has traveled the whole country， observing all aspects of the Chinese culture， people， and society， and written books and thousands of articles.
