　　本書(shū)以當(dāng)代美國(guó)具有代表性的三位女性劇作家瑪莎·諾曼、溫迪·華瑟斯坦和保拉·沃格爾的九部戲劇作為研究對(duì)象，綜合運(yùn)用儀式理論、操演性理論和女性主義理論，探討儀式表演與女性自我建構(gòu)、儀式與女性戲劇美學(xué)之間的關(guān)系。研究認(rèn)為儀式具有很強(qiáng)的操演性，是劇中女性人物克服身份危機(jī)、實(shí)現(xiàn)自我賦權(quán)的實(shí)踐策略，也是劇作家組織戲劇行動(dòng)、表現(xiàn)女性主義思想的戲劇技巧。同時(shí)揭示了女性身份認(rèn)同的操演性，表明性別身份并不是本質(zhì)的、固定不變的存在，而是身體重復(fù)執(zhí)行準(zhǔn)則、動(dòng)作、姿勢(shì)和欲望的操演結(jié)果，是變化的、流動(dòng)的，總是處在建構(gòu)和重構(gòu)的過(guò)程中。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

　　李淑玲，副教授，文學(xué)博士，碩士生導(dǎo)師，畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)，現(xiàn)任教于中國(guó)礦業(yè)大學(xué)外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文化學(xué)院。主要從事英美文學(xué)、比較文學(xué)研究。在《當(dāng)代外國(guó)文學(xué)》《外國(guó)文學(xué)動(dòng)態(tài)研究》《四川戲劇》及Frontiers of Narrative Studies 等國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表論文三十余篇，主編出版教材一部。主持完成中國(guó)外語(yǔ)教育基金、江蘇省社會(huì)科學(xué)基金、中國(guó)礦業(yè)大學(xué)青年基金三項(xiàng)研究課題，參與完成國(guó)家社科、教YU部人文社科、江蘇省教育廳等五項(xiàng)研究課題。
