莊勤亮 在東華大學(xué)紡織學(xué)院長(zhǎng)期從事紡織科學(xué)與工程專(zhuān)業(yè)的教學(xué)科研工作,專(zhuān)長(zhǎng)是機(jī)織物的成型、結(jié)構(gòu)及其性能。早年畢業(yè)于東華大學(xué)紡織工程專(zhuān)業(yè),數(shù)年后在英國(guó)利茲大學(xué)獲得紡織工程專(zhuān)業(yè)的碩士和博士學(xué)位。在東華大學(xué)紡織學(xué)院教授“機(jī)織學(xué)”課程二十多年,為本科生和研究生(含留學(xué)生)開(kāi)設(shè)過(guò)雙語(yǔ)課程和全英文課程,獲得上海市授予的“機(jī)織學(xué)”全英文教學(xué)示范課程的稱(chēng)號(hào)。于2021年獲得國(guó)際知名的英國(guó)紡織協(xié)會(huì)授予的“Fellow of The Textile Institute”稱(chēng)號(hào)。同時(shí),在機(jī)織物結(jié)構(gòu)與性能關(guān)系的研究領(lǐng)域,發(fā)表了數(shù)十篇研究論文及相關(guān)的發(fā)明專(zhuān)利。本書(shū)是莊教授長(zhǎng)期相關(guān)教學(xué)科研工作積累后編寫(xiě)的著作之一。
