  本書(shū)作為我社“最經(jīng)典英語(yǔ)文庫(kù)”第15輯中的一種,精選英國(guó)哲學(xué)家大衛(wèi)·休謨創(chuàng)作的哲學(xué)著作《人性論》,以三卷本出版,前兩卷(《論知性》與《論情感》)于1739年出版,第三卷(《論道德》)于1740年出版?!度诵哉摗窂纳鐣?huì)角度而非自然科學(xué)角度探討了基于公共意見(jiàn)與信念而形成的人的社會(huì)本性。全書(shū)分三卷,分別為“論知性”、 “論情感”、“論道德”。第一卷闡述認(rèn)識(shí)論,主要說(shuō)明了知識(shí)的起源、分類(lèi)和范圍,人的認(rèn)識(shí)能力和界限,以及推理的性質(zhì)和作用等內(nèi)容。第二卷以感覺(jué)性觀(guān)點(diǎn)說(shuō)明倫理學(xué)和美學(xué)問(wèn)題,認(rèn)為快樂(lè)的感覺(jué)是善和美的共同基礎(chǔ)。第三卷是在前兩卷基礎(chǔ)上對(duì)道德問(wèn)題的全面闡述。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

  大衛(wèi)·休謨(David Hume,公元1711年4月26日—公元1776年8月25日),蘇格蘭不可知論哲學(xué)家、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家、歷史學(xué)家,被視為是蘇格蘭啟蒙運(yùn)動(dòng)以及西方哲學(xué)歷史中最重要的人物之一。雖然現(xiàn)代學(xué)者對(duì)于休謨的著作研究?jī)H聚焦于其哲學(xué)思想上,但是他最xian是以歷史學(xué)家的身份成名,他所著的《英格蘭史》一書(shū)在當(dāng)時(shí)成為英格蘭歷史學(xué)界的基礎(chǔ)著作長(zhǎng)達(dá)60至70年。
