  本書(shū)為國(guó)家社科基金項(xiàng)目“英漢雙語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者運(yùn)動(dòng)事件的心理呈現(xiàn)”(15BYY063)研究成果。薩不爾-沃爾夫假說(shuō)認(rèn)為,語(yǔ)言決定了人的思維方式。雖然后人對(duì)此假說(shuō)提出了種種不同的看法,但語(yǔ)言與思維關(guān)系的問(wèn)題,歷來(lái)受到多個(gè)領(lǐng)域?qū)W者的關(guān)注。如果說(shuō)話者在嬰幼兒階段學(xué)會(huì)母語(yǔ)后即發(fā)展出一種與之對(duì)應(yīng)的思維模式,那么到他長(zhǎng)大后學(xué)習(xí)第二種語(yǔ)言(外語(yǔ))時(shí),是否意味著他要習(xí)得一種新的思維模式?本研究采用相似性判斷的行為實(shí)驗(yàn)范式,通過(guò)范疇化(顯性層面的選擇策略)和連續(xù)性(隱性層面的反應(yīng)時(shí))兩種測(cè)量手段考察了英漢單語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者和不同水平的英漢雙語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者對(duì)空間運(yùn)動(dòng)事件的心理概念化過(guò)程。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),首先,所有被試均傾向于依靠運(yùn)動(dòng)路徑(而非運(yùn)動(dòng)方式)是否相似來(lái)判斷運(yùn)動(dòng)事件之間的整體相似性。其次,反應(yīng)時(shí)的分析顯示,在判斷運(yùn)動(dòng)事件的整體反應(yīng)時(shí)上,漢語(yǔ)單語(yǔ)人群顯著短于英語(yǔ)單語(yǔ)人群,表明英漢兩種語(yǔ)言的空間事件類型學(xué)差異及其心理蘊(yùn)涵的不同。最后,研究表明,對(duì)于成人二語(yǔ)習(xí)得者而言,學(xué)習(xí)一門新語(yǔ)言不僅僅意味著學(xué)習(xí)新的語(yǔ)法規(guī)則和語(yǔ)言技能,更意味著學(xué)習(xí)并內(nèi)省一種新的思維模式。
