清乾隆皇帝頒給八世達賴喇嘛的詔書

清乾隆三十一年（公元1766年）四月二十六日，乾隆皇帝頒給八世達賴喇嘛·絳貝嘉措的詔書。詔書內容是：“……諭令爾在西藏好生弘揚佛法，利樂眾生。六世班禪額爾德尼學識淵博，德行超群，朕已頒金字詔書頌贊，爾要向班禪全心至誠地學法，學其道德品行，敬奉黃教，精盡勿??！特賜禮品金腰帶、佛燈、錦緞、哈達等……”此詔書用滿、蒙、藏三種文字書寫，上有乾隆寶印。

Presented by Emperor Qianlong to the 8th Dalai Lama Jampel Gyatso on the 26th day of the fourth month of the reign of Emperor Qianlong （1766）. It reads:“……By the royal edict, you should carry forward well the Buddhist doctrines to benefit and delight all sentient beings. The 6th Panchen Erdeni Palden Yeshe is of profound and immense learning and preeminent virtues. I have issued a golden-word edict to praise him, and you should learn Buddhist doctrines wholeheartedly and sincerely from the Panchen, as well as his morals and virtues, worship the Yellow Sect, make all your efforts and do not get slack! I award you with a golden waistband, a Buddha lamp, brocade, hada, etc……” This Edict is written in nchurian, Mongolian and Tibetan languages with a seal of Qianlong.
