Wang Qing Xiang
Wang Qingxiang was bor n in Shenyang in 1943 and graduated from the Historical Department of Jilin University in 1978. He is now a researcher for the Historical Research Institute of Jilin Provincial Academy of Social Science, a member of the Standing Committee of Changchun Municipal Political ConsultativeConference (CMPCC) and Deputy-Director of the Cultural and Historical Committee of CMPCC. He is also the Vice-President of Changchun Puyi Study Association. As an expert on the study of Puyi, he is well-known both at home and abroad.
Mr. Wang is a member of China Writers' Association and has published more than forty books about the life of Puyi. Of these books Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Puyi, The Second Half of Puyi's Life and My Husband Puyi have proved immensely popular.Some of his works have been translated into English, German, Japanese and Korean. Mr. Wang was the playwright of the film Fire Dragon, writer of the film The Last Empress, historical consultant of the TV series The Special Citizen and the TV documentary Aixinjueluo Puyi. He is often invited to coordinate exhibitions about Puyi's life held around China. Several times he has been chosen to perform major research tasks by the state and he has been rewarded many times for his ground-breaking achievement in the study of Puyi.
Ni Na
Ni Na, a senior translator, was born in 1953 in Xi'an and graduated in English Literature at the Peking Second Foreign Language Institute in 1978. Now, she is an advanced member of China Translators Association and a member of the Changchun Puyi Study Association.
Her interests include history, archaeology and anthropology and she enjoys Chinese painting and calligraphy. She has written many articles for the China Daily about Chinese culture and places of historic interest and scenic beauty in Xi'an.
