I can love both faire and browne,

Her whom abundance melts, and her whom want betraies,

Her who loves lonenesse best, and her who maskes and plaies,

Her whom the country form'd, and whom the town,

難道我，來在你身上勞作苦辛，

就必須永久為奴，只因為你真心？

維納斯聽了我這一曲詠嘆，

憑愛的最甘美部分——多樣性，她發(fā)誓，　

以前沒有聽過這歌調(diào)；以后不應(yīng)再如此。

她出發(fā)，去考察，不久之后即回轉(zhuǎn)，

他們妄想要建立危險的專一。
